Richmond Plaza (South) Improvements

The contractor is scheduled to begin work on Evergreen Street (between Chimney Rock and Mapleridge) in August 2024, with an expected completion in September 2024. Please note that the timeline may be adjusted due to weather conditions. Residents will receive notifications a few days prior to the start of work on their street. The contractor will ensure continuous communication throughout the project and provide access as needed. The project is on track for completion in Fall 2024.

The project has been partially completed and is facing a delay of around three weeks due to utility conflicts on Evergreen Street. This road is crucial for this project as all the side streets rely on it. The contractor is presently focusing on storm improvements along Evergreen Street from Alder Dr to Chimney Rock Rd. They have already completed the sanitary and water improvements. Once this section is completed, the next phase of work will begin on Alder Drive. from Evergreen Street. to Bissonnet Road. We are confident there will be no issues in completing the project on time.

The project is approximately 5% completed in place. Construction activities currently include the installation of wastewater and water lines on Evergreen between Alder and Chimney Rock.
