    It appears that there is still much work to be done until this section of trail is finished. Can we please get an update on the expected completion date of this project?

    Teamwork Construction Services (Contractor) is forecasted to complete work on the MKT Trail Spur Connector mid-July.

    I see there is now visible progress on this project. Is completion still expected this quarter?

    Thank you for your question. The project is moving in full force. We expect completion in mid-July 2022 due to unforeseeable site conditions.

    It doesn't look like much progress has been made since early November, are there delays in the schedule that have come up?

    Thank you for your inquiry. The contractor was previously working on pre-construction deliverables. This week they began to mobilize to the area to begin the construction. You should begin to see work begin soon.

    Will future work on the MKT bridge over White Oak Bayou impact use of the new trail connector when it's completed?

    Thank you for your question. Houston Park Board will shift their construction access to the other side (west side) of the trail to avoid a conflict with the new spur connector trail once completed.

    Thank you for your inquiry. The contract for this project was awarded to the contractor in September 2021 and construction is expected to begin November 2021.
