The project is progressing well! Contractors are actively constructing shafts along Fuqua Street between Blackhawk Boulevard and Monroe Road and installing new wastewater lines.

To accommodate construction activities, traffic on Fuqua Street between Blackhawk Boulevard and Monroe Road has been reduced from four lanes to two lanes in each direction. Traffic on Monroe Road between Fuqua Street and Swiftwater Street has also been reduced from four lanes to two lanes. We are pleased to report that the project remains on schedule for completion in Summer 2027.
