What is the purpose of this project?
The purpose of this project is to install a local collector sewer ( ranging in size from *-inch to 18-inch) on Bering Drive, divert sanitary flows with 30-inch to 48-inch gravity sewer on San Felipe Drive and Fountain View Drive and decommission two Lift Stations.
How long is this project going to take to complete?
Approximately 25 months (765 calendar days). Work is scheduled to begin in Spring 2021 and anticipated to be completed in Spring 2023. The project schedule depends upon weather conditions.

    Project is currently 80% completed in place. The contractor has completed the installation of wastewater lines along Fountain View Drive, between Westheimer Road and San Felipe Street along with site restoration. The contractor is currently completing the installation of the sanitary sewer lines along San Felipe Street and Bering Drive. The remaining work and restoration along San Felipe and Bering is anticipated to be completed by the end of May 2023.

    A major underground conflict at a location close to the intersection of San Felipe and Augusta has occurred. Construction along San Felipe has been halted until a feasible solution has been created. The current Traffic Control Plan (TCP) along San Felipe requires only one lane to be closed in the construction zones remains in effect. The construction is now anticipated to be completed during Winter 2023
