DETAILS Due to rip rap failures under the bridge, the channels and columns have been exposed to severe scour/erosion, and repairs are needed. This can lead to access, safety, health, and the well-being of the citizens. The channel condition of this bridge is a major contributor to the flooding of Ben’s Branch natural stream. This bridge rehabilitation is an immediate improvement for flood prevention and protection of the citizens in the Kingwood area.

    We appreciate your interest in the Tree Lane Bridge project. Prior to beginning, the Project required additional coordination and discussions with the construction company, local community representatives, and Council Member Fred Flickinger’s office to maximize project efficiency, minimize community impact, and confirm material availability. Therefore, the original start date of Winter 2024 was adjusted to Spring 2024.
