Q What is the purpose of this project?
COH partnership project consists of the Mill & Overlay of 4,281 LF of roadway, including base and subgrade repair as identified by the EOR, and approximately 500 -LF of new 6-ft sidewalk between the driveways of YES Prep schools on the north side of Crenshaw Road. The scope also includes pavement markings, ditch regrading along both sides of the road, and reconstruction of 9 driveways in concrete.

Q Will there be sidewalks on this project?
Yes. Connectivity to connect the 2 schools is approximately 500 LF.
Q Why not the entire roadway?
- Survey will be needed
- Trees will need to be removed
- Utilities will need to be relocated
- The newly installed drainage will be impacted, and storm sewer will need to be installed the length of the roadway
Q Will the drainage be improved?
Ditch regrading will be performed to improve the drainage and there will be a few culvert replacements per the EOR assessment.

Q Will this project cause traffic/mobility issues (lane closures, increase of trucks in the area, etc.)?
Traffic control best practices will be implemented to regulate flow of traffic, and possibly one lane closure for a short period of time (1 day or 2).
Q What are possible negative effects on residents?
Rough road surface for a short period of time, and slow movement of traffic
Q Will this project cause a disruption in services of any kind?
No
Q What hours will the crews work?
Between 7am – 5pm (standard)
Q Will work continue on the weekends?
No work on weekends
