General Project Information

What is the purpose of this project? This project consists of construction and rehabilitation of large diameter water transmission lines from 24-inch to 84-inch by combination of open cut, tunnelling, slip lining, and rehabilitation construction methods, including valves, connections, and appurtenances at seven (7) different sites throughout the City. This particular work order is the replacement of 24-inch line at the intersection of Bellaire and Hillcroft.

How long is this project going to take to complete? The 24-inch main water line replacement effort started in February 2022, with planned completion of June 2022. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the project will be completed on April 2023.
