What impact will there be on the Westpark cross streets for Dairy Ashford and West Houston Blvd. The traffic patterns indicate reducing to 2 lanes at Westpark crossing. Is this correct
adkeller asked 5 months agoHowdy Neighbor! Dairy Ashford and Wilcrest will be reduced to 2 lanes for the duration of the intersection reconstruction, not the duration of the project. It is expected that the reduction in the number of lanes will last 2-4 months, depending on the contractor’s schedule.

Will you please add a traffic light at Shadowbriar and Westpark. It has become a busy intersection because of school busses and parents cards, turning into Shadowbriar to serve the Outley Elementary School. Westpark Drive is also a major artery for people going east or west to get to Westpark tollway through W. Houston and to Beltway 8
TheoinTX asked 8 months agoThank you for your question. The Transportation and Drainage operation will re-evaluate the need for signal at Shadowbriar after the completion of the construction of Westpark.

These is a one time opportunity to remove the electrical poles and bury those ugly cables. Over 90% of any digging would be on unimproved raw land. What needs to be done to get this done? .
Hoasam asked 8 months agoThese overhead power poles have discussed with CenterPoint Energy during utilities coordination meetings and to bury these overhead lines into underground will cost tremendously to CenterPoint Energy. Currently, they have no plans to bury them. They will remain overhead. Any additional questions regarding these power poles and overhead lines need to be referred to CenterPoint Energy. -

Is there a more specific date when construction will start
adkeller asked 10 months agoThank you for your question. We are trying our best to get the project awarded to a contractor by end of May 2022. If it is awarded by that date then construction will begin Summer (July-Sept.) of 2022.
