The city is collaborating with Surety to restart construction. The Surety is currently selecting a qualified contractor from the received bids.
We expect the final selection soon. Once chosen, the new contractor will resume construction, and we'll provide a detailed project timeline in advance.
Ensuring public safety is our main focus. We're keeping essential safety measures, like securing open shafts and maintaining traffic controls until the work is finished.

BRH Garver, the contractor for the reference project, declared bankruptcy and the City subsequently terminated their contract. Therefore, all construction activity has been suspended on the project. The City is currently evaluating options to find replacement contractors and will provide updates when available. We expect this process to take several months but don’t currently have a definitive timeline.
For now, the City is simply maintaining critical public safety items such as protecting open shafts and keeping the traffic control devices in place. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we are working as fast as we can to resolve this matter. Thank you.
