The project is progressing well! Traffic on Durham between Glen Oaks Street and north of 11th Street is reduced to two lanes for utility and roadway improvements, with a traffic shift planned later this Fall 2026 to allow work on the east side.

The Shepherd Feeder north of 7th Street remains closed until Summer 2026, while the section between 6th and 7th Street is reduced to one lane through Summer 2026 for ongoing wastewater work. The MKT Trail remains open via a temporary asphalt path, and Shepherd Drive remains open with three northbound lanes between White Oak Bayou and 12th Street.

We’re pleased to report that the project remains on schedule for completion by Fall 2028.
