Traffic Notice

Fuqua Street between Blackhawk Boulevard and Monroe Road has been reduced from four lanes to two lanes to allow construction work to continue.

Now through Fall 2026

This lane reduction is needed to safely support upcoming tunneling work and keep the project moving on schedule.

As part of the Easthaven to Southeast Wastewater Treatment Plant – Package 2 project, contractors will begin tunneling operations in the coming weeks—an important milestone that keeps the overall effort on track for completion in Spring 2027. Traffic control will remain in place while work progresses.
