Exciting progress is happening behind the scenes! This project is currently in the design phase, where our team is developing plans that will enhance safety, mobility, and infrastructure for everyone who travels through the area.

    Planned improvements include:

    • 🚧 Reconstructing the roadway to provide four 11-foot travel lanes separated by a landscaped center median for improved traffic flow and safety.
    • 🚶 Building new 6-foot sidewalks on both sides of the roadway to create a safer, more accessible experience for pedestrians.
    • 🌧️ Upgrading the storm sewer system to improve drainage and help reduce flooding concerns.
    • 🚦 Replacing the existing traffic signal and installing new street lighting to enhance visibility and safety.
    • 💧 Replacing aging water and wastewater main lines to strengthen the reliability of essential utility services.

While design work continues, we're laying the foundation for a safer, more connected, and more resilient corridor. Thank you for your continued interest and support—we'll keep you informed as the project reaches its next milestone.
