Latest News - Traffic Update

WHAT	The eastbound underpass on Greens Road at I-45 will be closed for construction activities. The westbound underpass will remain open, and the overpasses in both directions will continue to operate as normal.
WHY	As part of the project scope, crews will install underground gravity sewers using microtunneling methods. This work requires the construction of shafts and associated tunneling operations in the area, which requires the eastbound underpass closure.
WHEN	The closure will begin in Summer 2026 and is expected to remain in effect through Spring 2027.
WHERE	The eastbound closure will begin approximately where the underpass starts and extend to just before the intersection at Greenspoint Mall. For exact limits, please refer to the attached Traffic Control Plan (TCP), Phase 3.
