We're making great progress! This project is currently in the design phase, and our team is working to develop improvements that will enhance safety, mobility, and reliability for everyone who lives, works, and travels through the area.

    The planned improvements include:

    • 🚧 Full roadway reconstruction to create four 11-foot travel lanes separated by a central median, improving traffic flow and safety.
    • 🚶 New 6-foot sidewalks on both sides of the roadway to provide safer, more accessible routes for pedestrians.
    • 🌉 Reconstruction of three existing bridges to improve long-term structural integrity and performance.
    • 🚆 Construction of a new grade separation bridge over the BNSF railroad tracks, helping reduce delays and improve connectivity.
    • 🚦 Replacement of traffic signals and installation of new street lighting to enhance visibility and promote safer travel.
    • 🌧️ Major storm sewer system upgrades, along with necessary water and wastewater line replacements, to strengthen essential infrastructure and improve drainage.

Design is an important step in delivering a project that meets the community's current and future needs. We appreciate your patience and support as we move forward and will continue to share updates as the project reaches new milestones.
